Haunted by the war in Iraq, a depressed and unfaithful Gabriel is approached by the mysterious Balthazar, who recruits him to stop the evil Archangel Michael from gathering an army of the dead to take over the world. With the help of his former platoon, Gabriel sets out to find the Warriors of Peace, his only hope of defeating Michael and his army.
