The Croods 3 (2025)

The beloved prehistoric family is back in The Croods 3, arriving in 2025! This time, the adventure takes the Croods to new, wild places where they will encounter even more strange creatures, unfamiliar lands, and challenge their very idea of what family means.

Plot: A New World

In The Croods 3, the family of cavemen—Grug, Eep, Guy, Ugga, Thunk, Sandy, and Gran—have learned to adapt and thrive in a changing world. But when a mysterious new land, known as the “Otherworld”, is discovered, their world is turned upside down. This new place promises incredible beauty and the promise of new discoveries, but it’s also filled with dangers that will force the Croods to grow even further.

The movie picks up where The Croods: A New Age left off, with the family finally leaving their makeshift home in the jungle after the defeat of the “Bettermans.” Now, they venture beyond the jungle into uncharted territories in search of a new place to live—a paradise that promises everything they need: safety, food, and room to grow. However, what they find is not what they expect. The Otherworld is a land of extremes, featuring massive trees, rivers of lava, towering mountains, and even a floating island. The Croods will have to contend with creatures even weirder than the ones they encountered in the jungle.

Along their journey, the Croods encounter new challenges—Grug struggles to let go of his overprotective tendencies, especially when Eep grows more independent, and Guy faces his own struggles with being the family’s leader. As tensions rise, the Croods must work together to navigate this strange new world and save their home.

Meanwhile, they meet The Floomers, a family of resourceful cave-people who have adapted to life in the Otherworld in unexpected ways. They seem to have everything the Croods could want—advanced tools, a perfect home, and a perfectly balanced way of life. But when the Floomers’ seemingly perfect world is thrown into chaos, the Croods discover that even paradise has its problems.
